I've been favoring the Imperial Fists Siege Vanguard, they play like a heavier version of Space Marines and I find that fits my playstyle. I also love how my team gets five kinds of heavy tanks and a Primarch to play with!Otherwise you may encounter some bugs. I had a black screen problem on hero screen but after installing that patch, no problems whatsoever. Just be sure to click on the "unification races" mod while setting up the DoW mod manager, otherwise you will launch the tyranid mod instead.

I bought Soulstorm and installed the Unification mod last week. The game is amazing. However, I am getting wrecked by factions that have heavy troops and early vehicles (Necron, Tau). I play primarily as Blood Angels. The AI sends their attacks in stages. Stage 1 is the scouts and a commander. I can beat that.

1st of all: some people have issues with dow's game manager. It will not work. use mod manager instead. it's also better in all the ways. if problem persists, or if you get "hunter-killer" or " [0vanilla]" errors when looking for errors in mod manager (yet another reason mod manager is better to use) that means faulty installation.

Unification Mod Help Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I've been having trouble to get the unification mod for soulstorm working. Tried using the installer, and then deleting the files and starting over manually, opening in DoW Mod Manager v2.1.6 crashes right out of the loading screen.
